Helping to make dreams a reality
'What happens if I miss a lesson? Other tutors charge for this. Do you?'
There is no charge for missing a lesson. Life is life and having children means unexpected demands appear at the most inconvenient of times!
'People in school say it is too late to start tutoring...'
Please don't listen to 'people at school'. In the same way that you wouldn't ask a plumber for advice about educational support (even if they can fit a downstairs toilet into the most implausible of spaces) please let us advise you from our extensive experience as to what is, and what isn't practical.
'I have been told my child won't pass the 11+
Please let us assess and review your child. Often you will find that our motivational teaching style and support will transform the progress of your child. We have tutored many students who have had deeply unsettling experiences previously in education and have suddenly blossomed under the guidance, advice and support at Every Lesson Counts.
'My child is a reluctant reader. Will that be a problem?'
We are confident that we can get ANY child to read. We have previous students who when first arriving at Every Lesson Counts professed they 'detested' reading, and yet whose mothers confided in us that by the end of tutoring the same child was begging for a copy of the 'Hobbit' to read.
We have a highly engaging reading scheme running throughout the year and we guarantee you will see a positive change in the reading habit of any reluctant reader.
'Are you DBS (previously CRB) checked?'
All of our teachers have the most extensive DBS checks completed because they all work in schools across Merseyside. In addition we welcome any parents to stay during tutoring. (Please see our 'parent zone' area for more details).
At Every Lesson Counts Tutoring we pride ourselves on our open and straightforward communication.
